Expansion of the Gourmet Zone of El Corte Inglés in Malaga with our Altea Bioclimatic Pergola
At SIX96, we continue to transform spaces with innovative and elegant solutions. One of our latest projects has been the expansion of the gourmet area of El Corte Inglés in Málaga, a reference space for gastronomy lovers.
Thanks to our bioclimatic pergolas, an extension of 405 m2 has been achieved on the outside, creating a sophisticated and functional environment for customers.
Design and technical specifications
For this project, we have installed a total of 18 bioclimatic pergolas, all with symmetrical measurements of 4,5 x 5,26 m, optimizing the distribution of space.
The design has been carefully planned to ensure a uniform aesthetic and seamless integration with the surrounding architecture.
The pergolas have a structure and slats in white 9003 TXT, a choice that provides luminosity and a modern finish. In addition, they incorporate perimeter LED lights, providing ambient lighting that enhances the user experience, especially at night.

One of the main challenges of this project was to maximize the usable surface area without losing structural stability. To do this, we implemented internal reinforcements in the pergola beams, which allowed us to reduce the number of pillars needed to a minimum.
This creates a more open and clear space, optimising the comfort and circulation of diners.
